December 3rd, 2007 was a date forever etched into the minds of Nintendo fans everywhere, for it was to be when the Almighty came to Earth in the form of Super Smash Bros Brawl. But it was not to be, Nintendo announced that Brawl was being delayed until March 9th 2008, increasing the emo population numbers in western countries by 500,000 (give or take 500,000). What prevented a mass suicide is the fact that Brawl features more content than the previous Smash Bros. games combined. The game even includes an epic story mode called Sub Space Emissary featuring all of the characters, who eventually team up to stop a mysterious and powerful enemy named Tabuu.

Boss battles on easy 0:00:57.76 by Peter Montag.
Author's comments:
Anyways, a quick breakdown of the bosses.
The main improvement here is to have him use his wing attack instead of hitting the ship. You can kill him before he even leaves the screen that way. Otherwise, it went rather well.
This is about optimal.
You can kill him in two hits with a bit of luck. Unfortunately he pretty much always uses that fist attack first, so when you miss the two hit kill, you lose a fair amount of time.
Mostly optimal. Spot dodging his stomp attack may have saved a small amount of time. I don't think he can be 2 hit killed like the hands, though.
This could have gone better. I now know of a more optimal (and consistent) strategy, but the main idea is to make sure Rock Smash hits the cage and Petey every time.
It's possible to kill him before he attacks if he roars first. Unfortunately that didn't happen here.
Near-perfect. Like with the Crazy Hand, the Master hand can be killed in two hits. Luckily, he went for his laser attack, which sped things up considerably.
This is about optimal, too, although I think the Rock Smashes at the end could be a bit better.
Ray always takes the longest. He's got a ton of HP and weird hitboxes. Or maybe Rock Smash is just not very effective...
This went quite well. Didn't quite kill him before he could attack, but close enough.
I'm still working on improving this run, as there's still a good 10 seconds to shave off it. The basic ideas are still the same; it just needs a little better optimization and luck.
100-man brawl 0:01:56.71 by Adam Young.
Author's comments:
"100 Man Brawl is pretty much what it sounds like. You win when you KO 100 opponents." Peter 'petrie911' Montag (The previous holder of this record)
This whole thing started when I chacked out the World Records for 100-Man Brawl at allisbrawl.com a month back. The WR was 1:58.85, by patroniton . Around the same time, Petrie911 posted his 2:01.21 on youtube, which he later went on to submit. I then kept working on unlocking things and forgot about it. After watching Petrie911's run again, I realized that I could improve that, unexpectably by four and a half seconds. His 2:01.21 run then gets posted and I'm like "WTF!? They accepted that?"(no offense,Pete). The day it gets posted, I post this time. I held this record that at the time was posted at the AiB website under world records. I never thought of submitting it to SDA, because I didn't know they would accept it, at least at that point in time. I assumed that a full charecter table would be needed first as it was in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but apparently not.
As for the run itself... it's still not the best, but it is the best time I can come up with. I was pretty lucky here, until the end anyway. I lose maybe 3-4 seconds in the end because of alloys that suddenly noticed I was doing too good :( ,and a couple seconds from alloys that didn't chase me a bit earlier. However, I did get lucky with the alloy spawn points, and a bumper 30 seconds into the run. A "perfect run" with Pikachu could probably go sub 1:50,but I'm still not sure. I haven't even gotten sub 2 minutes ever since this time came up. I can't seem to get this any lower, but I'll keep trying. Good luck to anyone that tries though.
If you have any comments or questions on my run, feel free to e-mail me at gameraay@hotmail.com .
All-Star 0:03:36.83 by Peter Montag.
Author's comments:
All-Star mode is rather nice compared to the other 1P modes. Very little randomness, and the only thing you can't see coming are which stage it will use for certain fights. Jigglypuff's was used for her high set-knockback throws. Rest just isn't as good as it was in Melee.
There are some mistakes, and Earthbound and Sonic probably could have gone better. However, most stages either went very well or about average. ROB and Captain Falcon are always hard to kill quickly, as neither can be OHKO'd with a throw. I'll probably try to improve this later, but for now, I'll leave it at this.
